Siwen (Lily) Chen is a jewelry artist born and raised in Shanghai, China. She holds an undergraduate degree at Pratt Institute, where her work focuses on contemporary jewelry and wearable sculpture.

Chen maintains an independent studio in Shanghai, practicing hands-on making and material experimentation. She values the contemplative process of making and views labor as an essential part of artistic thinking. Her technical experience includes metalsmithing, woodworking, glass, and ceramics. She has studied and worked in studios in both China and the United States, and her sustained engagement with metal practices continues to support her studio work. She invests deeply in both design and conceptual development, allowing her pieces to move beyond visual appeal and carry philosophical reflection.
